This year too, we’ve taken further steps toward a more sustainable future. The latest milestone in our journey toward more sustainable operations is the transition of our Tabasalu factory to 100% renewable electricity! This means that all electricity consumed at the factory now comes from green, environmentally friendly sources — a concrete action that supports our goal of reducing the environmental impact of our operations.

Switching to green electricity is part of our broader sustainability strategy, through which we continuously develop our operations to be more sustainable. We are making ongoing choices to improve our processes — not only in Tabasalu, but also at our Oulu factory, where we have systematically measured and reduced the carbon footprint of production since 2019.

Our commitment to sustainability is also reflected in our certifications: we adhere to international standards ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). These certifications guide us in continuous improvement and responsible practices across all areas of our operations.
